Fabricated a remote fuel shut-off assembly. Materials included 5/32" piano wire, a Du-Bro #614 E/Z Adjust Axle fitting, a panel sleeve made from a 3/8" bolt cut to length and center drilled for the 5/32 wire, and a cabinet knob drilled for the 5/32" wire and drilled/tapped for two 8-32 set screws.
A 3/8" hole was drilled in the switch sub-panel to mount the wire sleeve. The wire was bent as needed to connect to the nylon handle on the fuel valve, ensuring there was sufficient range of motion to turn it on and off (90 deg movement).
